Thanks everyone!

Filling a small space is not as easy as a larger area.  Trying to find plants that do not take over, or grow too high, or wide, is a real challenge.  My aim is to keep everything in scale to the 25' x24' area.  It has taken 6 years to get it to this point and I'm still pulling perennials that do not fit and replacing them with shorter more well behaved species and cultivars.  The sun exposure is full sun on the right, to full shade under the magnolia to the left side, so it is interesting to find a balance using perennials that love full shade to ones that need full sun and then there are those that fall into the partial shade to partial sun!!

As the Magnolia (Riki) continues to grow upwards, and outwards, I'll need to change things to more shade and less sun light.  This garden will never be truely finished as it is evolving as the years go by.  It will always be a work in progress!
