Printer-friendly versionI just finished direct sowing some herb seeds that I had gotten in trades. > Dark Opal Basil~ Dale > Oregano ~ Dale > Sweet Marjoram ?? > Dill ~ Commercial pkg. > Ornamental Pepper Mix ?? > Parsley Dk. Green Italian ?? > Stevia ?? > White Hyssop ~ Mt.Bluebird > Chives ?? > Chamomile ~ GGeeks > Sweet Fennel ~ GGeeks The chives, marjoram, and parsley came out of the last RR, and are marked in red sharpie, 2008. Did you put them in?

Herbs

Sounds like you have a very nice herb bed. I am in the planning stages of my garden for next year and will be putting in herbs as well. There is nothing like fresh herbs and I can't stand to buy them, they are so over priced. Sarah

...Good luck with your herb garden next year!! I've always wanted a thriving herb garden, and this is the first time I've set aside an area specifically for that. Previously, I've grown a few here and there, and in pots, so time will tell if this is a success or not. You can't beat fresh herbs for jazzing up a recipe!! I lost my large potted Rosemary, and have to replace that yet. I was forever pinching leaves from it to season with, and I miss it.
