For dispensing soap as a repellent for deer I use a water or soda bottle. Punch a hole in the bottom, insert a wire or string and bend or tie a knot inside to secure. Cut 2 or 3 windows or flaps in the sides, large enough to insert the soap. I use half a bar of Irish Spring soap and add new soap about every 3 weeks, empty  when no more will fit in.
