Blue Camas and Death Camas have same bulbs, one is edible and native american would even fight over the fields of Blue Camas (it was a great source of food for them), while the other contains an alkaloid and is poisonous to both man and livestock. And of course, they often grow together in the same field....so, you shouldn' t be trying to eat them, unless you can see the flowers ~ they are VERY different.
