Height 12-18 inches. Space 15-18 inches. Blooms midseason. Diploid. Propagation: dividing root ball, seeds(may not come true from seed).

You are right on!

With hybrids the seed rarely produces the same traits as the parent plant.

The only way to create a an exact copy of the parent plant is through division, or, if you have the money, from tissue culture done in a lab!  With tissue culture (cloning) you can create hundreds/thousands of exactly the same as the parent plant!!!
