Description

This is a recipe that I tried a few years ago at Christmas and quickly became a favorite that I get requests for it again and again....sort of like baked Brie with preserves but with a twist...it looks really pretty during the holidays...

Ingredients

  • 1 cn whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 T prepared horseradish
  • 1⁄3 c granulated sugar
  • 1 pk cream cheese
  • 1 sprig of rosemary

Instructions

Combine cranberry sauce, horseradish and sugar in a sauce pan.  Stirring constantly bring to a boil.  Remove from heat and pour over cream cheese on serving dish.  Garnish with sprig of rosemary.  Serve with various crackers.

Notes

Even if you don't like horseradish or cranberry sauce, you might like this.  Also, if you like horseradish (like me), you can adjust the amount you use to your taste.

I'm Back

Well I'm back. I haven't been able to log-on for a few weeks then I received an e-mail from Al inviting me back and I explained to him that I couldn't log-on so he contacted Susan and she helped me get back on. I am so happy to be back. I have some old friends on here and I hope to make new ones to.

Sounds interesting

I'm going to have to give this a try. I hate cranberry sauce but just found a can in my cupboard! Good timing.
