Well during this RR we have had a lot of confusion and lot of hurdles to overcome. But we have continued with the RR. I want to thank you all so very much.

is on his way home to Melissa. I mailed him today. Thank you for hosting this one Melissa. I took out Morning glory, (heavenly blue), Double Gleem Nasturtium, Rose Queen Cleome, Birdhouse Gourd, Red Burgundy okra, Aztec Sunset Zinna, Timed Release plant food, mixed colors Strawflowers, and Assorted Stellas. I put in Lemon Queen Sunflowers, Early Straight neck squash, Dwarf purple Bee Balm, Sweet William, Fennel, Sweet Corn, Black Oil Sunflower, Seven top turnip greens, Little marvel peas, Sugar Baby Watermelon, Sweet Basil and Brandywine tomatoes.

I have informed GrannyRose that we will send her the RR but she does not have a time limit on getting the package back in the mail. I have told her that the rules were not as important as some of the things that she has pending. She needs to worry more about getting back in her home safely.

I also want to thank you all for your patience and participation in this RR. We have had a lot of hurdles, etc. thrown at us during this RR but we managed to keep it going.

Thank you all. To everyone that has been in the path of the hurricanes we are all praying and thinking about you all on a daily basis that you all get your lives back to normal as soon as possible. Take care all of you.

I just got back from my house. We cleaned out the refrigerator and cleaned up as best we could. My gardener is there fixing the picketts in the fence andtrimming and removing all the tree limbs. He was just about to remove the siding and shigles but I caught him just in time. I wanted my insurance co and Fema to see those. Fema approved me for housing bit I am going to contact them tomorrow to ask for help with my expensives living at a second residence. Grannyrose

Dale. I am still at my daughter's and don't know when we will be able to return home. The main transformer that supplies my neighborhood is damaged. I can't stay in my house very long it is so hot. After 15 minutes I was wet with perspiration. I need to call Antonio to get my yard cleaned up. I finally got through to my insurance company to file my claim this morning. Grannyrose

I am back

from my mother's Melissa, but had to leave because of Ike. I am across town in Katy until Sunday then will go home to check out the damage. It is possible I might not have electricity and water for a month. If that is not bad enough I just gut an email for a $500 waterbill. Keep the prayers coming for us all that was in Ike's path. Dor when you are able check with your local water dept.  Tell them of your leak and ask them if you get a plumber to repair it and post the reason on the bill can they make an adjustment.  That is the way they do it here in SC.  Dale

was a mean little guy. He knocked out our power here in Arkansas as well. I just got the power back on about 10 minutes ago. We have had the generators running to keep the fridge and freezer going. And we stayed most of the day outside because it was cooler than in the house.

But I do pray for all of the ones who were in the more damaging path of the storm. I think that Smitha lives in Texas City and for some strange reason she has really been on my mind. I didn't realize that Dorthy lived that far south. But my prayers and thoughts are with you all.

south Melissa, about a forty-five minute drive from Galveston. We didn't get it as bad as Galveston but pretty bad in some areas. We don't have any power and don't know when we will. My plants took a beating. My Red Russian cannas and my Yellow Hibiscus is leaning past 45 degrees. My beautiful crepe myrtles are all stripped of leaves and blooms. My yellow cannas around my pink crepe myrtle are missing in action. My mother lives in Arkansas, probably south of you 15 miles from the Louisiana line. They got lots of rain and a tree fell across her driveway. Once my power is back I can go home, pray that it is soon. Grannyrose

The big Fat robin landed here in my mail box... I've already sorted through and have so far take out;parsley, brussel sprout, zuc,brocc,cauliflower,radish,onions,tomato,basil,carrots,lettuce and spinach, I will have a full garden next summer. I put in so far Bloodroot, sunflowers,shasta daisy,columbine, canna,dill,cypress vine, love lies bleeding, hycinthia bulbs, moonflowers and cosmos. THANKS Big fat robin for coming to my house.. this has been a great RR thanks to our hosts... : )

I sent her out today conf # 03071790000422512139   She was very fat and happy as she left. I got some wonderful new goodies. Datura, black eyed susan vine, arugula, fever few, joe pye weed, and other goodies. I put in stellas, daylillies, sunflowers, blackeye susan, yucca, marigolds, and lots of veggies. I hope you enjoy. was a ton of fun. My daughter is now tall enough to ride the BIG coasters. Soooo we rode whatever she wanted to and as many times as she wanted too. I am feeling all of my 37 years today!!! The older they get the faster they get. The older I get the slower I get! LOL  But we will definately go again next year. We have been going since my 13 yr old was 2. We had 36 people in our group this year. Tons of fun!!!  And the best part was that all of the kids in my car slept on the way home!!!! No fighting!! Yay!!!   My kids went to bed tonite at 7:00. I added: Stevia,MG's, Wisteria,Poppys,Petunina Mix, Canterbury Bells,Jobs Tears, Marigolds,Trumpet Vine,Argula,Nasturium, MoonVine, Soinach, Asst Lettuce, Carrots, Broccoli, Dark green Zuch,Cinamon Basil....many many more.

I did some fall cleaning to lighten my seed supply.

Dale- I emailed you with my address. My computer decided to break down on me and I am in serious PC withdrawl. I snuck over to my sis' house and am hogging her computer right now. She peices computers together for the fun of it and I figured if I hogged her computer she would put a rush on fixing mine or throw a replacement together for me. LOL She is reading over my shoulder and just grabbed her tools!!! YAY!!!!  I have been collecting seeds like crazy. SO many daylillies and stellas. I can't wait for the Robin to make its stop in Indiana. I hope everyone is enjoying their gardens and all the yummy veggies. I haven't been able to spend time on the computer so all my extra time is being spent outside. just trying to get my printer working right now. I don't know what in the world is wrong with it. It is driving me bonkers. It is a new printer and was working perfectly fine until I replaced the ink cartridges. Then it went crazy. Wouldn't show that I even replaced the ink and now that I have gotten it to show that it has ink, now it won't print. I have ran the maintence on it several times and not sure why it won't print. But I will get it figured out one way or the other.

What kind of printer do you have, Melissa? You won't believe this, but the same thing happened to me one time. My hubby who was then only my fiance told me to take the cartridge out and check it over.....Low and behold, I'd forgotten to pull that piece of tape off the bottom.............That was sure a DUH moment. After I did that, I put it back in the printer and voila -- it worked like a charm.

You better believe that I've NEVER EVER done that again! hehehe

I have a Kodak 5100 All-in-One and I have done that but it has hard plastic pieces that cover the cartridges. I am not sure what is wrong with the stupid thing. I went back to my old printer the HP Photosmart printer (which I really love) but I bought the Kodak one because my scanner died and you can't go and purchase a scanner by themselves anymore. So I guess I will have to have them both hooked up to the computer at the same time. That is insane. Oh well, that is technology for you...LOL
