your cannas

Treva,

Your cannas are very pretty.  I like that you have the varieties, especially the various colored leaves ones!  Will they bloom at various times are all more or less at once?  That will be a magnificant display.  Please keep us posted with pics.

My canna - well I bought my first canna about 3 or 4 weeks ago.  I found a dwarf pink canna I just had to have. Mature plant height is 18".   So, I potted it up and seems to be doing fine.

Wow lots of Canna's

Wow treva thats a lots of Canna's! I had lots also and wanted them outta here, they take over everything. I offered lots of the named ones I had to FreeCycle in my area and what they didn't take SIL did. I did keep some of the un-named ones and replanted them where I don't care if they take over, hope they help hide my chicken coop. heheheehe

Big On Cannas

I have a few myself.  One year I worked on my Cannas.  The following I worked on my Daylilies. And last year I worked on my Plumerias.  This year I have enough of them all and no more room.  It would really have to be something different for me to want it now.  They are beautiful but they do multiple fast.  Yours are looking very healthy and will look great when they start blooming.  Good Job Girl!

Are you obsessed?

Treva, I don't have NEARLY as many cannas as you do, but I am in love with them too! First I discovered a few that I liked; then a few more, after that, a few more. I am getting to the point where I also want them all. Mine aren't as big as yours yet, and some are just coming up since I just planted them! Once I figure out what's where, I'll let you know. Perhaps we can trade for ones we don't have. I'm doing that with other people here, too! Cannas are amazing. I'm finding that where I thought I used to like only tall ones, I think height variety is nice. It ads visual interest to a garden.
