Brug cutting in water

Submitted by frillyflower on Thu, 03/27/2008 - 12:25
A few months back, I decided to start a brug cutting in water. Recently I looked to see what was happening. As it turns out, the cutting had not rooted. Instead, it turned to mush and what an aweful scent.
Has anyone tried brug cuttings to root in water?

Brugs cuttings in water,,
hiya frillyflower,, one of the reasons your brug cuttings didn't root may have been because of the way you did them,, when trying to root cuttings the water has to be changed every other day and in some cases every day.. even this doesn't ensure that they will root. some brugs are just hard to root. what type are you referring too?,, brugs unusually roots quickly and shouldn't take months, check out this article i wrote,,

Hi DeeDee,
That could have be the culprit, not changing the water regularly. Thanks for the tip. BTW - it was a double white species.
