Block Island memories

Well...I went to block Island this past weekend to spend time with my great friend tatyana. Before I left, Daffy Duck asked me to take her lots of pictures, and was teasing me...SO, I promised to take a picture of some daffodils after we trampled them, and enjoyed them...WELL, Dizzy...this one is for you !!

And, I would love to know what you were doing on the Island ? Everytime I turned around you were following me all over the island...

Our trip was soo much fun ! My daughter didnt want to come home..and today was so quiet.

Dizzy, I hope you enjoy the pictures we took for you...I made tatyana go back so I could make sure I got the pictures I pormised you ! Next time you decide to come on vacation with me, maybe you can make a pot with us too...Laughing

Oh, S'mores...make me some MORE!!!!!!

S'mores are delicious!!! And since Kym left me her marsh mellows, we made a microwave s'more today...too busy in the office to go out to the grills :)

Did you guys know that Kym had no pictures left in her camera after the first evening (after taking about 95 of them!), so she had to borrow her daughter's camera to take those special pics for all of you. Can't wait to see them too!!!

smores on the way

Susan, sending you some smores via the net...LOL I had to post these pics to get Dizzy for all the teasing...Ill post more tomorrow, it is going to take a long time, and the hands arent wanting to work, after all the hours of making mosaic pots with tatyana.

 We had smores each night, and BTW it was the first time T had them, so Ill always remember that night ! She found out how messy they are...LMBO! We went to the beach for an afternoon, and I brought home some great sea shells. We went to the nursery TWICE..and I bought a HUGE hellebour plant, and was SOO excited to find them. We bought "sister: plants of a new nemesia, and cuphea for our pots. Can you imagine me carrying a tray of plants on the boat with me, with a huge pot full of glass...grin.

We went to a victorian resaurant for a champagne buffet breakfast...and ate ALL the fruit they put out..LOL The restaurant was on the cliff, and you looked out to the ocean..

My daughter went on a sunset horseback ride...and had a great time !

We went to see HALF a sunset...but it SURE was pretty !

I think other then spending time with Tatyana, my favorite thing was seeing the seals..I have always been a HUGE animal lover, and it was so much fun to sit on the beach and hear them calling back and forth to each other.

I got to see llamas, goats, horses, ostriches, donkies, chickens, buffalo, turkey, camels, and lots of deer on the island also !

We ended our trip by sitting at a pond feeding the ducks, and I really think it was a great way to end the time. I cant thank Tatyana enough for a wonderful time !! I am looking forward to the winter, so we can make some more stuff with the glass, and hang out !

Wow, Kym! Was there a single minute where you and Tatyana weren't busy doing stuff? It sounds like you had a fabulous time! Thank you for sending me those FABULOUS s'mores via the Internet. They were delicious! (If only I had some supplies. I have a grill that's probably still hot and it has cherry wood chips on it because I grilled some pork sirloin chops on it,) but oh well! Take your time posting the pictures, but know that I for one, will be awaiting them with baited breath! 

By the way, glad you had a chance to get back at Dizzy! She certainly deserves a bit of chiding! I sure hope she knows that we really DO love her to pieces!

Kym, it sounds like you had an amazing time and did so many fun things! You can't mean that you only took two pictures, though! And what was this talk about you and s'mores? You didn't share? Oh man! I'm beside myself with grief! I love chocolate! (Dark, of course!) 

I'm glad you had a fabulous time!  So now for the next question: where are the rest of the pictures!!!!!!!!!

Welcome home! We sure missed you, and we were extraordinarily jealous of you for being able to sneak away to do something really fun!

You and Tatayana are going to be the best of friends from now on! hehehe
