Thanks for your help !

I use the same recipe
I use the same recipe as for hummers... 1 part sugar/4 parts water. Have you ever tried grape jelly or oranges to attract them? The Orioles here love the jelly.

My sister has a friend
My sister has a friend in Albuquerque NM and she uses grape jelly. What type of container do you use Connie? Let us know how it works.

I'm not sure if you can see it real well in the photo, but I found this feeder at a wild bird store a few years ago. There's a small bowl in it to fill with jelly and pegs sticking out the sides for orange slices.
The jelly works great! ... they're picky, it has to be grape. I go through almost a jar a week. Several Orioles nest around here and bring their young. They go back and forth from the jelly to the nectar. Very fun to watch!
