Peacock Orchid

Peacock Orhcids actually arent an Orchid, rather they are related to Gladiolus. I planted them for the first time this spring, and they were the hit of the garden !
They are a fragrant flower, that work well as a cut flower.
They have a longer growing season than Gladiolus, so If you have a short season, you may want to start the corms inside before your last frost date. I started mine in peat pots, so I didnt have to distrub the growth.
Peacock Orchids like to be generously watered up until they begin to bloom, and grow well in full sun.
