I wanted to share something with all of you that I recently learned from Al. I think that it's important that I share this with you so that you understand why some things may have been edited (particularly articles and plant ID's,) or why the title may have been altered.
Getting the Boot from Chat?
I've been contacted on numerous occasions by people who are trying to chat in one of the chat areas but keep getting kicked out, and they have no idea what's going on!
Hummingbird Observations
Aug 2007 HummerSince you all know that I'm GardenHere's resident crazed hummingbird fanatic, I thought I would start sharing my observations with you. I watch the hummers intently because their behavior just intrigues me. The hummers arrived about 2 weeks ago. It was a while before I saw the first one venture to my feeders. I was dutifully filling and cleaning the feeders every few daysin the hope that the fresh nectar would lure them sooner. It didn't work. The reality is that they will come when they are good and ready. Then they finally did.....I must have seen the first one sometime last week. So far, it seems as though all the hummers I am observing are male ruby throats. This is typical.

I've received numerous PM's lately from people who are completely stumped because their posts and article are looking weird. They are utterly clueless as to why this is happening. The explanation is actually quite simple: unnecessary and extraneous HTML coding.
If you copy and paste anything from any other program or website into any text box on GardenHere, there is a high likelihood that the content contains harmful source code from MS Word or HTML or some other software.
