Well the tomato plants are full of tomatoes and I'm waiting for something to ripen. The cucumbers has 2 little ones on it so I'm watching them to get big enough to eat. The onions are getting big and the first planting of radishes has been eaten. We are already eating on the second planting of radishes That means it is about time for the third planting to go in.

IM HAVING AN AFFAIR.

It is dark and dreary here as the spring storm passes us by. We were in desperate need of rain on the southern side of Atlanta, Georgia. It seems as though every mention of a drop bellowing down to the earth from the heavens above makes me squirm out into the garden to conjure up a motion some would label a jig, and others an Indian Rain dance. Most likely if you saw the spell of a dance move that I make at the site of large thunder clouds you might think I was in need to head towards the powder room. Sometimes I think rain is a nice way of being forced indoors for a break.

Spring 2008

Let us here in this medium be honest with each other. I am here to write to those who want to read about what is going on in my garden. I hope I cause a few of you to be inspired to go out and take pictures of your own garden or perhaps trade a little more. Moonvines: Round 2

I had 2 very healthy moonvines growing since mid February, and about 10 days ago I decided I wanted to harden it off a little, since it was sooooo warm and sunny outside. Every day I'd put the pot under a tree in semi shade for a few hours.

May be it was still too much sun or wind for little seedlings, but one didn't make it and another one is in tough shape: paper thin, barely any color left in the leaves, not sure if it will make it.
